The Azalea Garden is styled after a Japanese stroll garden with many traditional Japanese design features adapted for the natural setting and vegetation of coastal Maine. A meandering circular path leads visitors through a succession of garden rooms that inspire serenity and reflection or bring to focus a particularly lovely vista. Definitively, a calm and beautiful place to visit and find your inner peace. Enjoy!!!
As 2016 is coming to an end I must say that it was a great year for me. I got to fulfill a long time dream of visiting and photographing the beautiful contry of Iceland. Also, in my beloved Puerto Rico, I got a chance to explore and venture myself into the heart of my country. Thank you for always hanging around as I share what I see with you. Stay tuned because I got this feeling that 2017 is going to be better and bigger than this year. As always...enjoy!!!
My Favorites From 2016
When photographing sunsets it's really important to stick around long after the sun has cleared the horizon. You never know what nature has in store for you. In this particular photo, taken as the sun was still up, the sky and the clouds created a really good show. This other shot was taken after the sun went bellow the horizon, see the difference? Enjoy!!!
Not Your Regular SunsetOn our last day of the trip to Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island in Maine, we decided to pay a second visit to this gorgeous place, the Asticou Azalea Garden. Both, my wife and I were quietly walking and admiring the mesmerizing views of this unique place. If you get the opportunity to visit the state of Maine make sure to visit this peaceful and beautiful spot, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!!! A Place to MeditateOn a chilly September morning we decided to go hiking in Acadia National Park to photograph a stream of water that runs under a stunning arch bridge. Little did we know that the creek was dry and that we were out for a surprise. I was a bit disappointed at first but the beauty of the place made that feeling go away really quick. We decided to make the best of the moment, so I placed the camera on the tripod, frame the shot and took a selfie. I was all worth it, enjoy!!! The Dry River |
